What is on my BALLOT- Like it or Leave it....take it or leave it!

October 18, 2026

What is on my ballot.
I am not going into detail.  Life
is too short.  I may add links for other’s
explanations of their votes that I TRUST.
I also feel that the commercials and mailers that are paid for by the
uber wealthy are difficult to combat with the TRUTH because most of the folks I
support are NOT wealthy and NOT bought so they don’t have the funds to pay for
commercials.
Senate- Angie Nixon—easy peasy- Her opponent is a grifter and thief.
District 14- Congress- Kathy Castor- she’s done a LOT of us
and Macdill!  Don’t believe the damn commercials.  They are LIES!  https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1JWgwYuGaX/
Governor- David Jolly- His opponent is dodging interactions
NOW and he wants your vote.  He doesn’t give one shizzle about you, let alone two. His wife RUNS him.
Attorney General- Jose Javier Rodriguez- because his opponent pissed away millions on Alligator Alcatraz.
CFO- Annette Taddeo- I wasn’t impressed with her opponent at Tiger Bay.
Ag Commissioner- I am writing in Matt the Welder, he should have run as an independent.
State Senator District 14- Brian Nathan- his opponent is a carpetbagger from Polk county she knows NOTHING about the City AND she is bought and paid for.  https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1E42wc9whk/
State Representative District 65- Karen Gonzalez Pittman-
Yes, I know she’s not a democrat but she’s accessible works with the public school reps and right now DEATH SATAN hates her.
BOCC District 1- Harry Cohen, his opponent is a FRUITCAKE.
BOCC District 5- Neil Manimala—I love me some Neil, he wants what’s best for ALL of Hillsborough County. Not really sure after I saw his opponent’s donor list who she represents?   https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1N37JhvC3V/
BOCC District 7- Aileen Rodriguez- The ONLY candidate who cares one SHIT about the City of Tampa.
Watch her opponent call the City out HE does NOT represent ALL of us!  https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1E3EMG4W4m/

Justice of Supreme Court Judge Muniz- NO
District Court of Appeals- Judge Silberman- YES
2nd District Court of Appeals- Judge Sleet- NO
2nd District Court of Appeals- Teves Smith- YES

ALL of the JUDGES are covered in Rochelle Reback’s SLATE.  She does a great job of breaking these down.   https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FjWXh7bzz/  Reality is you should READ all of her SLATE.

School Board District 2- Daniela Simic- her opponent, IF she actually lives in the county, is underqualified and overfunded.  I served with her on the Citizens Budget
Committee for the City of Tampa, useless is the NICEST thing for me tosay.
School Board District 6- Re-elect Karen Perez- She’s hard
working and level headed, her opponent MEH.
Constitutional Amendment 1-
NO- why if the current government
thinks we have so much money that we should cut taxes do they think they need a
bigger savings account?  Makes ZERO
sense.
Constitutional Amendment 2- NO- I like Shelly Reback’s explanation
under the judges but remember farmers get all kind of subsidies already and
many seem to be inclined to sell their lands to developers despite that.
Constitutional Amendment 3- NO- This is a STRUGGLE for me.  WHY? Because I believe that there are things that we waste funds on BUT---NOTE that this Amendment is to give power to Tally, not to city and county governments.  Tally wants to control our purse strings.  Tally continues to not
VOTE in favor of our local governments being able to protect our LOCAL
interests.  So, it is a NO for me.Hillsborough County Referendum 1- NO- Superintendents of schools need to be folks EDUCATED in education. Not political pawns.  Only one other state allows elected superintendents, Alabama…do I have to say more?  I’ll also note that most states also require a special certification to be a superintendent.
Florida education leadership needs MORE education, NOT less.
Hillsborough County Referendum 2- NO- I’ve heard some other side
of the coin arguments FOR this, but not enough to make me change my mind.  Voters in Hillsborough county can currently vote for 4 BOCC members, which makes them accountable to most voters.  Individual districts for all just seems to be setting us up for LESS cooperation among board members. Mariella Smith, former BOCC member wrote a nice piece about this change. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1J7KPjEfvz/Hillsborough County Referendum 3- YES- This is NOT a new
tax.  This is continuing the ½ cent tax
for capital improvements through out the district.  (NOT salaries ) we continue to NEED updates our
facilities through out the district.  Our
kids should be in SAFE facilities.
NOT on my Ballot-
I support Kim Overman for Congress
I support Luis Salazar
