  3. Presentation from Fire chief Glen Warner of the tragedy that took place 45 years ago at the downtown police station.
  4. Budget Presentation by JANE CASTOR- I understand she won’t be in town that this will be a video?
  5. Applicants to the ARC- one applicant for one position.  When will the term end, will the next Mayor be able to put their own person in the seat or choose to retain this applicant?  They didn’t put this lady’s name in the agenda?  Monika Alesnik, but the next person has HIS name in the agenda?
  6. Confirming the appointment of Jerry Hosey as a member of the Variance Review Board.  While I know NOTHING about Mr. Hosey, I don’t think he should have an appointment that lasts for 3 YEARS after the current administration leaves.  We have NO system for changing out representatives without their doing something really BAD.
  7. Acceptance by the COT from the FL Commission on Community Service for a grant CERT training of $10k.

  9. SAAF (Social Arts and Action Fund) agreement with Abe Brown Ministries to promote strategies to prevent and reduce incarceration costs of up to $61k from the COT.
  10. Clean up of the following properties by the COT (1) 2725 N Jefferson St, (2) 4204 W Iowa Ave, (3) 1105 E Chilkoot Ave, and (4) 306 N Church Ave
  11. Clean up of the following properties by the COT (1) 2604 N 25th St, (2) 4405 N 38th St, (3) 2208 E 26th Ave, and (4) 2703 W North A St
  12. SAAF agreement with Boys and Girls club for summer internship program for $15k
  13. Demolition of the following properties by the COT--  (1) 1102 E New Orleans Ave, and (2) 2904 N Central Ave
  14. Acceptance of the grant from “volunteer FL” of Americorps Contract for 2026-2027 for grants up to $454k for the Parks and Rec department.

  17. Purchase 3 Caterpillar model trailer mounted generators for the wastewater department for $351k
  18. Purchase 2 BIGGER Caterpillar generators the two will cost $359k for the wastewater department
  19. Change order 1 for the final contract for paving in Ybor 7th Ave, decrease of $258k with a final payment being made of $10k.
  20. Change order 2 for the E/W green spine cycle track (REBID? Why?)  Ajax paving decrease of $472k final payment being made of $199k
  21. Contract with RTD construction for Cold Milling for $275k  it doesn’t look like there were any other bids or it wasn’t put out for bid?  Not sure which, but it is for $275k for concrete roadways- small areas.
  22. Movement of $1.7million from the water department consumer services to operating expenses.  Is this dipping into the reserve funds for the water department.  What is the reason for the need to transfer the funds?  Is this attributable to the drought for the year?
  23. Internal Audit of the Office of Human Rights- I would have guessed there wasn’t much to see here because HUD and other federal agencies monitor this department.  I had NO idea that this was part of Neighborhood Enhancement.
  24. Updating the scope of work for the HIV federal dollars from Metropolitan Ministries. The agenda NOR the one pager says how much is involved.
  25. So, the owners of some property near E 112th ave donated probably close to 4 lots to the COT for $230.  Not $230K…. LESS than half the price of the vacation of an alleyway.  SHAME on STAFF for only giving them $230.  I hope the COT is providing their new survey for that price?

  31. Did I miss something?  I thought this was on the agenda last week?  The purchase of 1947 W Main St by the West Tampa CRA for $700k.
  32. Sale of City owned property at 412 S West Shore, which I guess the buyer has a land use change applied for.  I noticed the lot for sale, but never stopped to figure out the address.  Accela says he was just confirming it was a buildable lot for a SF detatched home.

  34. Grant of easement to Teco for COT owned property at 4151 Dana Shores Dr
  35. COT purchase property located at 2810 W Pearl Ave for a stormwater purposes for $606k
  36. Amendment to CDBT funds movement for CDBG funding to the Centre for Women REDUCED to $25k, I don’t have wifi to look at this right now but it looks odd considering item #33
  37. COT convey infill lot III program conveyance of 2802 N 22nd St Tampa  to FL Mtg Holdings.  For income based Single Family homes.

Resolution for Army Navy property land development of 5.6 acres.  I am NOT hip on the clause that allows staff to approve extensions for this project.  The Rome Yard project is YEARS behind because of delays on the part of the developer.  We need things BUILT, not stalled.  TCC should NOT gift their powers to staff.

  42. Approving a bid for Onyx cleaning services LLC for janitorial services for Hanna St for $241k. Why does the COT have all these bids on contracts that don’t qualify?  I mean, why does STAFF not support this process?  If they do, LMK what they are doing?
  43. $400k for fire alarm annual inspections by Everon LL.  For Asset management. How much do we pay the Fire Marshall to support this issue? Can staff not do this task?  I mean, for $400k, that would be significantly less than you’d pay 2 FTE?
  44. I am ASSUMING waterproofing services are the service that will be supplied for this item?  It doesn’t say.  The following companies- AEC Development Partners & Waterproofing experts…what is this for?? Why is the 3.8% CPI included in the one pager? Why is there nothing about this in the ONE pager?
  45. Renewal of contract with COT with AllSouth Underground w/ 2.4 CPI for Sediment control structure baffle boxes inspection and maintenance for $400k
  46. Regional Infrastructure Accelerator Cooperative Agreement for COT and US department of transportation.  $650k no definition of what will be done with the funds in the one pager? What does RIA mean for the COT?

  54. Change order 1 for contract with RTD Constrution for $6.5 million additional dollars  this is adding an additional year to the contract for the water meter replacement without an increase. ( I found it interesting that the Water department was changing out the meters in my 14 year old neighborhood.  These types of motions are often on the agenda.  How old is the life of a water meter?) 
  55. Mobility department report on the cut through from Morris Bridge Rd to K-Bar ranch.  I believe during last month’s update, the mobility department reported that the private developer is doing this.  This will improve response time for TFR.
  56. The CFO to report on to total for deferred maintenance in the city.  This should be good.  NOTHING IN ON BASE—But CFO, likes TCC to be the first ones to see their documents.   I can’t wait to see the Parks and Rec items.
  57. Where and what kind of trees have been planted in the last six years…2160, but half of them were Crap Myrtles or bottlebrush???  SMH.  ONLY 27% of the trees planted are type 1 or type 2!!  SMH AGAIN!!
  58. City Council attorney and City Attorney return with the amendments to the rules and procedures to how TCC runs. I’ll have to look at it after my meeting.
  59. Staff presentation on a dog park in Forest Hills (near Babe Zaharais golf course)
