Workshop Agenda- Is ON BASE BROKE or did EVERYONE forget they're supposed to upload documents?

  1. Response times for 33647 for Tampa Fire Rescue. How did this end up on a workshop agenda?
  2. TPD to prepare and implement a plan to enforce ambient noise there is NOTHING IN ON BASE?  Do they have a plan?  I think this is going to be continued to the September workshop per CW Hurtak  I also think it is combined with Item #6.
  3. Discussion of Natural Resources Committee and the Tree Trust fund.  CW Hurtak made a motion to change the terms to 1 year initially—That is Absolutely appropriate, they should not be appointing folks for terms longer than they are in office.  I think that TCC should also have 7 appointments to the NRAC, not 5, that is ridiculous.
  4. Review of the tree mitigation fee of $300- NOTHING IN ON BASE?  It costs us a fortune for the trees, are they actually charging what it costs us to plant them?
  5. Staff to give a presentation on the Tree-mendous program. Also explaining how to expand the program to include front yards.  NOTHING IN ON BASE?
  6. See item number 2, and making it illegal to modify your vehicles to make them LOUD.  NOTHING IN ON BASE?
  7. Staff to report to council with acoustic design standards for new and existing operators of particularly close to residential homes.  NOTHING IN ON BASE?
  8. The legal department to present changes to Chapter 14, this is ALSO SOUND. NOTHING IN ON BASE?
It looks like we have another THEME week!!
Is there an addendum coming for the workshop?  I thought that TCC asked to discuss the changes in their rules and procedures this week as well?  I am, of course particularly concerned about the disposition of Public Comment—The confusion is REAL!   I understand that TCC meetings are to conduct
City Business first, so I think that is ideal and should include commendations being moved to a time certain in the afternoons!  Let folks have their families come downtown in the afternoon and receive their praise, THEN they can go out for dinner or have an event to celebrate.  End the day on a HAPPY NOTE!!
