1. 5 minute presentation from the Mayor of Cianciana, Sicily- not sure of the back story of this presentation.  It is NOT a Sister City to Tampa.
2. Central Park CAC chair, Thomas Murphy to give a verbal report about the Central Park CAC/CRA
3. CRA directors report.  The report says the following documents are attached, but they are NOT in On Base?    CRA Projects Tracker, CRA Commercial Grants Tracker, CRA Housing Grants Tracker and CRA 2025 CRA Annual Report.  Why aren’t they in ON BASE?
4. Domain Homes is asking for $75k per home subsidy for the Ybor Heights Village Project to help buy down the costs of the homes.  Who paid for the dirt?  Just curious?  I am glad to see duplexes going on to single family lots.  It is a better use of the properties.  I am curious of how many folks currently living in the CRA can afford a $450k home even with the $75k discount.
5. Jackson House update--- Ask BUCKHORN and CASTOR why NOTHING has been done??? That presentation has ZERO timelines for getting a damn thing done.  It is a DOG and PONY show…NOT an update.  The report says, “ASSUMPTIONS BASED ON WEATHER,FUNDS AND MATERIALS AVAILABILITY”  With ZERO dates.  They have a million dollars…what are they waiting for???
6. Union Station—SERIOUSLY, it took 2 years to get STARTED on this project?(Approval of $4 million on April 18, 2024!)  Man, oh man, the little engine that could is in charge of the project at the train station.  SMH
7. City of Tampa CIO to work on technology for the CRA staff.  My first question- how much will this cost. $30k and $8k annually.  2nd question how long will it take.  Who knows because staff is busy doing ANYTHING but helping TCC (CRA)
8. East Tampa Way Finding Signs-  $109k.  I hope this included Neighborhood signs as they SHOULD.  The current ones provided by the COT are hideous.
9. Drew Park CRA Safety and speed study – Good idea, what do the RAYS think about it?  (Just kidding!)
