  8. Highway Maintenance Contract with FDOT and the COT. I’d love some clarification about this agreement. It says there NO fiscal Impact, but where is the landscaping and maintenance money coming from? I don’t see any $$ in the contract except for the insurance values. FDOT/STATE has a lot more $$$ than we do as the City? Is this coming from CRA funds? If so, should it be? IDK, this isn’t clear. Are they pulling some of these funds from the tree fund?
  9. Donation of $1000 to the Parks and Rec department from the National Recreation and Park Association.

  15. An additional $20k for the vulnerability study being performed for the COT. The update will also inform and support projects submitted to the Statewide Flooding and Sea Level Rise Resilience Plan as well as other upcoming infrastructure grant opportunities for a wide range of professional services related to energy efficiency, carbon reduction, climate vulnerabilities, green jobs, renewable energy opportunities, community engagement, and caring for vulnerable populations disproportionally impacted by climate change. It would seem that before we spend $60+++ million on Howard Ave project we take a look at the presentation that is coming from this spending??? Just sayin…$20k seems like an ounce of education might be worth $60m pounds of cure???
  16. $400k sidewalk program agreement with Kimmins Contracting. Although the priority chart goes up to $2 million in spending? Only one sidewalk on the listed as near a school? The others may be around parks? At least there IS a list! I personally prefer maps, but I’ll take the bone! Thanks for that!
  17. Change order 1 adding $9k to contract with Phinazee Construction for improvements to Salcines Parks as part of the design build project paid from the West Tampa CRA. The original contract was $1.3 million.

  22. Contract with Peoples Gas for natural gas service for the Solid Waste department. WOW! People’s Gas is giving us the gas mains for free because we’re going to be paying for the gas, well, if the GOVERNOR get’s his way, they’ll get to double their profits in the next four years anyway…so they’ll still be making money!
  23. $10million for the WTE Generator project being spent from the Fund balance. The turbine generator at the WTE plant could not restart after regular maintenance on September 19th. As of October 2, they still didn’t know what was wrong with it? How can they establish it’s going to take $10 million to fix the problem?
  24. Revenue Refunding bond for Tampa Prep, This is some sort of weird public/private partnership for bonding. I recall it coming up a while back. It doesn’t cost the COT funds.
  25. Agreement with Bucher + Suter for subscription services that will link the City’s phone system with the Tampa Connect system. YES, Please!! I hope this is for a dedicated Customer Service phone center. It’s only $16k, but we can all hope!

  34. Transfer of infill lot at 1808 N Mitchell Ave to WIRE Development for them to build a single family attached/detached units on the property for folks up to 140% AMI. Why are we not requiring MISSING MIDDLE homes on these properties. With a cap on permeable surface and size will bring the prices under control for families to move into home ownership.

  58. TAMPA BAY WHEEL--- this is the DUMBEST!! DO NOT do it!! NO!! 701 Channelside Dr…AND AS A WALK ON???!!!! WHY? What’s the hurry? I wondered what was going on with this property when there was a proposed Environmental clean up on 6/26/25 agenda #63--- if they planned something in JUNE, why is it a walk on now??
  59. Petition for Review that was missed notice- won’t be heard for 505 West Ross Ave rescheduled for 11/20/25
  60. Adminstrative Update
  61. WITHDRAWN…which is good, we need to stop doing debt consolidation and try going for NO DEBT!! As far as I am concerned this could be continued to INFINITY and BEYOND as long as it has things on it that we should be PAY GO and things that haven’t been approved by TCC as of yet.
  62. Zampell Refractories can we afford this with a $10million broken generator? Just sayin?
  63. Water Development Improvements contract assigned to RTD Construciton for $6.5 million The bid process saved the Citizens of Tampa nearly 11% on this contract!!
  64. See #63
  65. Planning Commission Staff to give their timeline on the Comprehensive Plan. (NO documents in ONBase
  66. TCC asked for a WRITTEN report on namig New Tampa Rec center after Gabe Hassan, but Ms. Wynn will appear in person? I thought the request for written reports was to save time?
  67. PIPES 6 month administrative update. This powerpoint makes my math brain jump for JOY! All those numbers dancing together as they should!!
  68. TREE report… why are the numbers not easy to understand. I’ll have to look at it more later. I sent it to my tree hugging friends.
  69. Pickleball…should not be installed on a residential lot. EVER…folks have to live next to that crap. I hope that someone shares the sound studies about it. There is a time and place for everything but not in someone’s back yard!!
  70. I am really becoming worried about this LDC update mirroring the Comp Plan and those folks aren’t free like the Planning commission. Do we not have 10 decent pages of the LDC in process that folks can look at?
  71. Staff to provide a report on any athlete who made it to the majors being recognized at a local park. I hope there is someone in Parks and Rec to do this?
  72. Update on Sulphur Springs Pool
  73. Staff to report if the can find additional funds for Urban Reworx – it looks like they have found an additional $750k
  74. Charter Review discussion—I have thoughts. Anytime we lose a TCC member for whatever reason, the candidates should submit written applications, and the new member should be chosen by council at any point after the 100th day of that members term. 4 months without representation is ridiculous.
  75. Staff to provide TCC with a strike through copy of the amendments made by the 2018 Charter Review. It’s NOT in OnBase? I’d think they could find that?
  76. The administration to submit any of their proposed changes to the Charter. NOTHING IN OnBase
