The CPI chart shows they should being going DOWN NOT UP… LOOK at the CPI chart on page 5. I’ve said this before…where are the trees going??? Why do they need MORE trees?? TREES are supposed to be planted and LAST LIFETIMES??? I sent the information to CAB if you’d like to read more!! Funny part is that all of the activity on the TREE spreadsheet isn’t in TCC agendas??

  28. Merion Landscape Services LLC, with a 2.4 % Consumer Price Index – for EAST Parks—Can someone provide a MAP of the Parks districts??? I’ve never seen one. This is for $341k

  29. Merion Landscape Services LLC, with a 2.4% consumer price index (CPI) price increase, for the furnishing of South Parks, AGAIN, where are the maps of the parks districts? $361k with 2.4% CPI increase. This should only be spent in the AREA IT IS IMPACTING!!!

  46. Change order adding $2 million to contract for Tampa’s Neighborhoods with Kiewit Construction for VPNA, East Tampa, Forest Hills, Macfarlane Park. Why are there any funds coming from the South Tampa Tree fund? CAB, did you all get some new trees when they paved your street?? I don’t see anything about trees on AGT-EXE – transferred out of South Tampa tree fund to city wide—WHERE are the trees being planted?? SEE #28, where are the trees being planted??

  47. See #47-Cigar factor office flooding $15k? What is that? Did the vendor flood someone’s private property? I don’t see ANYTHING on page 13 of the final executed pdf that implies there would be trees involved?

  48. Let me see if I understand this? So, Skyline 41 tore up COT property. COT sent them a bill for $79k to fix it. Skyline 41 said, “No, we’ll fix it if you pay us $70k? Because Skyline41 was working on the ROW. They filed for the ROW vacation AFTER they screwed up our land? Wow…I hope someone can explain the reasons WHY this should make sense?

  63. Agreement amendment with Chmura Economics & Analytics, LLC for software for Economic Opportunity department. Not sure why I had to go to the 3rd document to find out it should be around $15k?

  64. $135k for Water Works Park ADA Improvments from the Tampa Heights Waterfront CRA.

  65. Revised Release of Easement form—NO, the Mayor doesn’t need to give away city property without it being signed off on by ALL of our elected officials. There are TOO MANY shady administrative tasks being done currently for TCC to sign off on giving away ANOTHER power. Why are you all there if you’re just going to give away your power?

  66. Sidewalk Easement at 1218 E. Kay Street, Tampa, Florida to the COT for sidewalk work.

  67. WHY are we signing ANOTHER lease for the GTE building when Hanna St isn’t full? At least they reduced the rent equal to the reduction in sq feet being leased. I still think we need to put these emergency ops folks at Hanna and quit paying ridiculous rent.

  68. A NEW Lease for GTE financial where we’ll be building out the property for the call center. The Engineering department isn’t staying at the building—aren’t the moving to the water treatment plant once that is finished? We’re spending $$$ enhancing other folks property when the funds could be used to build out Hanna St.

  78. See #78

  79. Reallocation of Stormwater funds to pay a payment of $60k for stormwater sweeper.

  80. Set hearing for public hearing AUGUST 7th 1030 am Stormwater IMPROVEMENT assessment annual renewal thing… I seem to recall how much I complained about it last year an some folks were concerned. I STILL have issues with the use of the Stormwater department being used for parades… I DO NOT CARE where the funding comes from. I care that they are spending 28 days a year doing something BESIDES STORMWATER!!

  81. See 81 but for Stormwater Capital Improvement Assessment.

  82. Special Magistrate’s Report for public hearing on 1411 N. 17th Street, 1707 E. 4th Avenue, and 1715 E. 4th Avenue; I’ll comment on this separately. But I can’t find the processes that were supposed to be done before it comes back to TCC under any of these three addresses? This report should include that the applicant should be filing at least 1- DE1 for parking-- yet, they're going to bring this back for council to make a decision on the 2 parking issues that require the DE1 for this case. SMH...what is going on here??

  83. Business code of conduct to do business with the COT. I really wonder about this as we assess how to do business in the community. Do we look at this for CRA supported projects as well?

  84. 2nd Reading for AB-- 2330 West Horatio St

  85. 2nd Reading for AB-- 1601 East Columbus Dr

  86. 2nd Reading for AB-- 2701 North 16th St

  87. 2nd Reading for AB-- 1530 East Columbus Dr

  88. 2nd Reading for AB-- 1509 East Columbus Dr 90- DE1- petition for review- Withdrawn

  89. DE1- Petition for review- 3701 N. 52nd St

  90. Amending a Rezoning from a Schribner's Error for 4905 Price Ave

  91. Administrative Update- Let's talk about why the Mayor is naming stuff after Buckhorn while he's running for office? SMH...the Optics are BAD!

  92. NO!! The Ashley drive needs to come completely out of the downtown CRA. It should even be taken out of 30% set aside for affordable housing since it will increase the land value of the properties surrounding it. That will offset the cost. $4.7 million for another VANITY project at this point is just ridiculous!! If you support this, support it out of the DOWNTOWN CRA...not the General funds. That $4.7 million needs to go to Stormwater, setting up/tearing down parades/ fixing potholes/installing sidewalks. It is BAD enough that you have the Riverwalk. It is even worse that we have the Rome Yard sitting around doing NOTHING. Maybe the COT can't handle another project? STOP the madness!!

  93. Contract with Air Mechanical & Service Corp for HVAC services for $3.8 million.

  94. What exactly is a Public Safety Master Plan? Why doesn't TFR and TPD have two separate plans? I am fairly certain that the Planning Commission had no input into the plan presented by TPD which really looked like a Public Safety communications publication rather than a master plan. It's my understanding that they should be involved in MP process for its development? I mean it was nice, but it doesn't really tell us what the vision is for the future of TPD. When know what TFR's plan is until 2027, NOTHING because the administration seems to be putting up barrier after barrier for TFR. SMH.... Does the administration think no one notices?

  95. Station 24-- Poor Mutterback, he's a good guy. He wasn't even here when the Station 24 SAGA started, that was before HANNA St, yet the place is finished (falling apart but finished) for quite some time, but we can't even get started on this fire station OR Rome Yard. I think for totally different reasons, but there ARE reasons for both being Slow Rolled!!

  96. Mid-Year review--- I want to see the debt to credit line ratio. FOR THE GENERAL FUND ONLY!! We can't still be at 41%I don't care about the enterprise fund rates, I want to see the GENERAL FUND rates. Everytime I get it, there is a bunch of other stuff thrown in.

  97. STORMWATER update- well, staff finally found their way to SOG! I hope the get the ditches on Interbay at Manhattan. Ask them what they have done with all the stormwater information that we had SOG submit over and over since 2019? It's like we never told them. Let's also talk about the need to fix Manhattan in front of M south apartments, it has flooded since I moved here in 2012!

  98. Budgeting for the Charter review commission? I missed this one. I must have been asleep? I can't wait to hear this. Let's start by the recommendations that Bill Carlson proposed a couple of months ago?!

  99. I am on an airplane, I can't wait to see this. I guess the current plan is to just have the employee resign? They then sing songs for him on the way out the door. UNLESS you are a TCC member that annoys the administration, then you hire attorneys to investigate them. The Optics...TERRIBLE...really REALLY TERRIBLE.

  100. Good, let's figure out if there are bodies there once and for all. Same with the Italian Club.

You know, sometimes by the time I get to the end of the agenda I am just plain disgusted with the behaviors that are recorded in the Agenda. Why? Because our biggest issues are IGNORED and the unimportant are HIGHLIGHTED... that's not the way it is supposed to be! My Momma said you can't spend other people's money but this administration seems to be A-OK with spending our tax dollars on whatever the hell they like!! It's not equitable, not even close. It is all about development being done to glorify this Mayor and the Last for the future. Why? I'd think that someone who SERVED as a police officer for so many years would have gotten to know what our city wants, but she either was so far removed from them or just doesn't give a CRAP.
I have a HUGE issue with the Mayor naming the center at Julian B Lane after Buckhorn when EVERYONE but him knows he's running for office again. AGAIN--- the OPTICS are bad. Why would she do that to a city she proclaims to love? It's just plain embarrassing. Controlling the major media in the City is the only way that this isn't highlighted....AND there is an example in THIS AGENDA!!!
Maybe now that her time is coming to a close, she'll start being more interested in the citizens NEEDS? I hope so. Life is short, Gwen Henderson just left us with that message BIG TIME!
After the hurricanes last year, the administration has focused on a forensics building, a riverwalk (which I still think goes against the COMP PLAN) making Ashley Drive flat...not revising how the Stormwater department does business. Not hiring LICENSED Stormwater engineers to run the department. Not having Stormwater set up and break down for parades. I could go on and on. But you know, it is the TRUTH. The priorities are ALL JACKED up in the City of Tampa and frankly I am SICK of IT.
I am not talking about any particular staff member. They are doing as they are TOLD to do. There are a handful of unethical greedy people running the show and SHAME ON YOU!
