The owner paid for an FDN to get the property ready to resale YET, this owner hasn’t bothered to mow the grass or tend to the property twice since he did the Land Use change request. Wait, this must be the 3rd since they bought the property!! They ask for it to be allowed as RS-60 even the lot is only 51 x 120 so they can make the property worth more! SMH. The applicant threw up their traffic numbers for a gas station that COULD go on that corner. That would be A WONDERFUL addition to our neighborhood. We’d RATHER have a gas station! It would NOT create MORE traffic, it would only utilize the traffic coming by the LITTLE commercial/industrial we have left in SOG! SMH…

  86. Allocate an additional $500k for stormwater operations which goes along with the item from the FY24 left over budget funding from the workshop last week. I don’t think it’s a bad idea, but I’d also like to see that someone is responsible for checking the work supposed to be done by vendors. One day, soon, I will sit down and dig into the Stormwater spending a bit more.

With all this REALLY COOL Equipment, I think it would be AMAZING if the COT had a "Truck Touch" We went to one on DC, they had everything from PD helicopters to dump trucks, front loaders, garbage trucks etc. There were food trucks and more. it was a BLAST when my son was 3 he talked about it forever! (Do this only in the winter of course, because it's too damn hot otherwise!)
