- It looks like the rebid- is adding $100k to a $370k project that was bid in 2020? I’d think that this scope of work would be completed by now, instead it has increased by 20%?
- Design Build for Athletic field lighting citywide—the list of fields is on page 21 of the 2nd document, I am glad to see Gadsen Park is included as they use that park often! What about Skyview park? It says athletic fields city wide? It’s not on the list of properties to address? Check for your community parks…

- Resolution to create a “Natural Resources Advisory Committee” I thought there already WAS ONE?? But it hadn’t met in many years? What do I know? LORD…who made this resolution?? 1st—they can’t get certified arborists to serve on the VRB because there aren’t enough of them that LIVE in the City??! It may require a change for that position to someone who has an office in the city??? OR that position will likely not be filed either. I see that the Mayor wants to pack it full of people she cares about and leaves the neighborhood folks to TCC. SMH… you can’t make this up.
- Moving $1.5 million from the general fund to cover expenses related to Hurricane Debby…is the state and feds paying us back any of these funds?

- Private Dock Agreement for COT and 6404 N. Otis Avenue,
- Park construction by owners of 3812 W Pinewood. (Hopefully named Lisa Chesser Park) Ya’ll know how I feel about this Development agreement, the developer met with the neighbors. We’d like to see the COT staff be required to include the neighborhoods ESPECIALLY when you are talking about changing the use of COT property that impacts the community. We’ve spoke with CW Hurtak about this already. We’ve also reached out to the development community about ways that this can be easier for everyone. I’ll keep you updated on the movement.
- WHY are we continuing to lease the EOC from GTE? While Hanna St isn’t full, it has showers and other areas that appear to be MADE for this type of set up? I thought someone told me that it was going to be moved to Hanna St??? AND they are EXPANDING THE LEASE for TFR? For another $4700 per month?? It says this costs $16k for the additional leasing space, God Knows how much the original lease is for??

- Purchase of Gutter Brooms and Main Brooms for Elgin Pelican Mechanical for $118k for mobility department.
- Mobility department hiring a community engagement service for for between $100k or $200k from Versant Strategies LLC? Maybe they’ll teach stormwater folks how to answer the phones when folks call about flooding?
