  62. PUBLIC HEARING for Development agreement between Pinewood BF LLC & COT for a park located on the 3800 block of Pinewood St in South Tampa. The neighborhoods were NOT consulted on this plan. The letter that was sent by the developer per code was NOT helpful. The City had NOT filed the plans, they were NOT sent via snail mail. They were NOT entered into Accela. They were NOT IN THE CLERKS office as they stated in the letter. The address was not available. THE paperwork filed indicates that the property will revert back to the care of the COT in one year. (The developer says that it does NOT, that they are responsible for the care of the property for a 20 year period that is renewable for two additional 20 year period.) Why does the COT get to do whatever they want with the land in our community when no one else does?? It sounds like the code for these types of agreements needs to be amended. This is the 2nd development agreement that the COT has made this year without consulting the neighborhoods? (Remember Fred Ball park?)

  67. Bonding $290MILLION dollars for water/wastewater. Does this count towards our overall bond issuance or is water/wastewater separate pots of bonding???
  68. See #68…$290 MILLION!!! SMH this is the first I heard of this!
  69. The LINK DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS ITEM.(I've contacted Suling) Contract for Morris Bridge Flter Building Improvements- rebid for $4million.
  70. Purchase of 5 pierce saber pumpers for a total of $5.5 million for TFR. (fire trucks!) It's about damn time!
  71. Update on Fleet maintenance and station 24….from TFR- After doing the math on the proposed forensics lab, I think that 5005 N Howard makes more sense for TFR Fleet Maintenance--- according to what was reported by TPD last week and my rough calculations, they only need about 2 acres, why not put that 8 acres to work for the city ASAP! (Although after driving out there that does NOT look like 8 acres?)
  72. TPD security plan for Ybor City with consideration of CRA rules.
  73. Staff to report on providing leadership training for mid and senior level employees. OHHHH, I missed this one but this is interesting.

  76. Abbye Feely report on the Land Development Code Reform process.
  77. Update with visuals on the PIPES program to be done every six months
  78. Neighborhood notices for Live Local projects. YES! This needs to be done. While the neighborhood and the city can’t do much to push back on projects, there should be NOTICE for these projects!
  79. TCC salary increase should be done!! PLEASE WRITE COUNCIL TO SUPPORT THIS! We want our elected officials to be focusing on their representation of our city! This is a terrible burden on council to vote on this raise, the MAYOR suggested it in 2022. The poor salary leads to a homogeneous council that is made up of wealthy and lacks diversity because folks must either be independently wealthy, take a vow of poverty or do two jobs to pay their mortgages while serving the City of Tampa. This adjustment is significantly less than half of the salary of the upper-level staff in the COT. It is also still BELOW the Annual Median Income for the City of Tampa. Being on City Council is NOT a part-time job, if it is being done correctly. They don’t just show up on Thursday for a meeting. They have hundreds of pages of documents to read, meetings with staff and the community, and events and boards to participate in as part of their jobs. The MAYOR NEEDS TO SUPPORT THIS ALSO! This bump will bring them to 40% of what she makes. Our city needs a diverse TCC!
  80. The bypass of Bristol Ave for the South Howard Stormwater project. This project should NOT go through Parkland Estates it would endanger TONS of trees and tear up their community when it is the LONG way around!
