- Resolution modification for SAFE contract with FDLE and TPD for FY23-24to extend to June 2025
- Letter of agreement between Police Technology Institute and COT for pedestrian & Bicycle safety enforcement up to $122k. It looks like the PTI pays for officers to educate the public and hand out literature in SPECIFIC areas of the city about bicycle and pedestrian safety. I’d argue that SOG on Dale Mabry should be included since the contract was written last time….they’ve ripped out over a million dollars in medians and are in the process of putting in several ridiculously overdone cross walks due to many traffic fatalities. I am certain there are other areas of town with the same tales.
- Modification #2 of subgrant agreement between Division of Emergency Management it says it is extending the deadline to June 2025- what the agreement is about who the hell knows? It’s not in the one pager…

- Resolution moving reallocation of $31.5k from TPD Operating Expenses to Operating Capital expenses.
- $200k for pool covers…the previous contract was 8/2023, they only last two seasons? It seems like a very short amount of time before needing two covers?

- Approval of 5- 1 year contracts with Oracle Cloud services for $25k total
- Oracle Mission Critical Support for T&I for a total of $96k
- Expanding the uniform purchase for various departments by 25% for an additional year 4/4 years, but it doesn’t show any price increase or not?? Just, let’s spend another $200k this year?

- Repeal of the Citizens Review Board—FYI TALLY SUCKS EGGS!! IDC who you are, you should be accountable if you are drawing a check from the Citizens!
- Administrative update
- Renewal of “Award” with General Facility Care LLC with a 4.1% price escalation for the Convention Center of $3.06million for janitorial services.
- $17.1 million in additional Solid Waste FEES because McKay Bay is closed half of each day for getting rid of garbage… GOOD LORD!! This is MORE than 10% of the total cost of the new Waste to Energy Plant!!! Maybe they need to figure out a new plan???
- Hydrant replacement for the Water Department, increase of $6.5 million, on a contract that was originally $19.5 million… an INCREASE of 33%!!! How long do hydrants last? Seriously??
- $4 million to have Water Line Service Inventory—are they the same guys who should have done the survey for the water main break in SOG? Just saying???
- $3.8 INCREASE to contract for full depth reclamation…paid with CIT funds—so double the contract!
- $16million dollar increase for the water Department over 8 companies. Not sure how far I need to dig to find out the original contracts???
- Italian Club to report on the findings of the cemetery issues--- PLEASE do this ASAP! This is 2.5 years old. Either make someone perform or kill it… wait, PUN intended.
- The Resolution to allow someone to be on the Citizen’s Budget Advisory Committee who doesn’t live in the City…. WELLLLLLL…I have mixed feelings about this. Do we have folks who have a VESTED interest in the COT who don’t live here. Yes, we do. Does the CBAC have ANY control monetary control over things that happen in the COT? NOPE. Does Joe Greco have a vested interest in the budget for the COT? YES…. So you decide. You tell TCC how you feel about this issue.
- 6 Pilot Project--- how close is this to PURE or Toilet to Tap?? We have NOT time for that??? (IDK is this lipstick on a pig?)
- Ms. Feeley to update TCC on the LDC reform--- Carroll Ann Bennett and Debbie Zommermand will be representing THAN on the Citizens Advisory Committee for this project! We are very excited to see this project move forward!
- Whistleblower’s within the COT—while they might have a WONDERFUL policy… I can tell you right now that folks who tell me things are at SERIOUS risk… they are VERY concerned for their positions at the COT. I’ll also say that Ethical concerns within the COT are taken VERY lightly, IMHO…. Just sayin… If you want a list of my issues over the years. I’ll be happy to share!
- Residency Requirements—do all of our upper level staff NEED to live in the city?? That is a question you need to ask yourself?
- Racial Reconciliation Committee to be funded with $50k to facilitate the meetings--- No one has faith they can do it themselves and the Mayor won’t send STAFF because she didn’t come up with the idea??
- I MUST have MORE WINE for this one… TPD and TFR provide the Public Safety Master Plan… We don’t have enough blank pages to talk about WHY ISNT THIS DONE YET???

Currently in South of Gandy most of the units qualify for LESS than 120%, which means that for a one bedroom apartment the cost is less than $2k per month!! That’s NOT affordable for the normal families!!
