Petition for Review 2219 E Columbus Dr appeal of SU123-83 72. Petition for Review 401 S Howard for DE23-235 73. Administrative Update 74. Riddle me this!! If the City of Tampa had planned to spend $8 million on paving this year but they ARE NOT spending it with AJAX…where is the $8 million. HELL--- for that matter, where did they pave $12 million worth of paving last year?? I mean, seriously, the budget for paving was $4 million and we increased it to $12 million, there are new roads popping up all over town like daisies!! It is AMAZING…BUT here we are paying AJAX $12 million for paving last year…WHERE??? WHAT STREETS?? Because NO ONE saw that happening last year???????????? 75. TPD and TFR present annual report on Public Safety Master Plan (is there one??) It has been requested to be heard with #76 maybe that works for TPD, but does it work for TFR? 76. TPD -- Report how to combat violent crime in the city… 77. Quarterly update on Fire Station 24 78. TFR report on K-Bar ranch response time 79. TFR- report on fire response times and safety deficits- Channelside, new Tampa and SOG. 80. Staff to report on the Fiscal Year 2024 Mid-year review. 81. Staff to report on COT supporting organization—Stepping Stones in Sulphur Springs. 82. Planning to report on Entertainment districts--- why is this still on the agenda? 83. Zoning for restaurants only for mostly take out services—why is this still on the agenda? 84. Legal staff to report on ways to go after the seller instead of buyers when cited by code enforcement. 85. Legal staff to draft ordinance for proof of residency for administrative staff in the City of Tampa. I personally think that this is getting ridiculous. Especially with the prices of housing being SO outrageous AND with staff being often hired from within. Folks can’t afford to purchase homes within the City of Tampa that are comparable to their homes outside the City limits. We have a hard enough time competing with the private sector to fight this battle. 86. Racial Reconciliation Committee—Resolution 568—Councilmembers to report their selections for the committee. Does the Mayor still REFUSE to participate in this committee? If so, it looks REALLY bad. SMH 87. Hillsborough River and Technical Advisory Committee. I like Carolyn Lewis’ application or Joel Brown! 88. Adoption of new rules and procedures for TCC!! If you like to show up and speak at council…you’ll want to pay attention to this one!! I was the only one in the room when it was discussed!! 89. The Mayor’s Veteran’s Committee—Yet another committee put on the back burner by the Mayor’s office… NO PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR YOU!!~! There is no way this has only been an item since December?? It’s been discussed for well over a year. 90. Yes! Parks and Rec to speak on ADA facilities for parks programs!! How about our kids at Gadsen Park with NO DUGOUTS--- NO ADA restrooms and more…yet we have $40 million for one park?
