- Jackson House Foundation—GoodNESS- is it going to fall to the ground before they do something with this property?
- Ya'll KNOW how I feel about this issue!!!! Budget advisory committee presentation on raises for TCC—For the LOVE OF GOD… I am so over it. TCC members are paid $54k for their Part-Time position- part time that takes days of preparation to be ready for each and every Thursday. Part-Time that expects them to be available to the public regularly. Part-Time that isn’t part time—it is a FULL-TIME job. So, why are we paying a salary that doesn’t even allow them to pay their RENT/House payment. NO, they didn’t sign up to give themselves raise. I honestly think the LAST council should have done it in April 2023!!! The administration leadership is making closer to $200k per year for many positions. If TCC WAS part time, then they should be making HALF. It doesn’t need to be done all at once, but it needs to be adjusted more than the 3% currently in place until they are making enough to pay their house payments while in office. The Mayor’s FY24 salary is listed as $189k AND she has a spending budget as well. Yet, we expect TCC members to work WITH the public and FOR the public for $54k per year. TCC needs to stand up for their SEATS—this isn’t about THEM indvidually. This is NOT about who is going to run for "your seat next time" This is about the seats they are warming. NOTE- in FY22, the budget gave them a significant increase…but they refused it then. It may have been too much, but there was NO ALTERNATIVE PLAN for getting our elected officials a living wage for the hard work they are doing so that they are NOT beholden for campaign contributions.

- THIS confuses me. The original bid was for $78k and now it is increased to $298k because the bidder failed to include the cost of materials. While, I understand mistakes were made, where are the other 3 bids that were considered? Even if they were higher, the bid sheet should be with this request? Otherwise, how do we know how much the COT saved by using this bidder?
- SAT Industrial Supplies for $278k for Polyethylene Water Boxes and Covers. The lowest bidder was non-responsive. The bid process saved COT citizens 4%
- 3.2% CPI increase on sheltered market solicitation for grounds maintenance at the Wastewater facilities for $134k
- Again—CONFUSING- Paragraph 2 of the Resolution says. Total project Budget estimated at $13 million. But, my math is considerably more? a. 2019-245 $371k b. 2019-617 $1.3 million c. 2020-01 $8.1 million d. 2021-899 $7.5 million e. 2022-839 $1.6 million f. 2024 resolution adds another $55k

- ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATES
- $10 million for the SOHO Flood relief and streetscape project

- Settlement with Mr. Duboise for $14 million dollars by the COT for 37 years of wrongful conviction.

- NAACP- funding GEEEEEE, is this another case of TCC allocation of funds and the administration not following through?? (kind of like the fire station 24?) Sorry, not sorry. We have 8 elected officials in the City of Tampa, not one.
