- Presentation in memory of Nat Ross and Holocaust -- are we giving equal time to the Palastinenans? - Why in that hell is the city putting in the sidewalk in front of these apartments that are STILL BEING BUILT??? I don’t get it? Why not make them install them?? Of course, the city will never get around to doing it?? I have more to say about this later...I'll get it out today. I asked the EXACT same question when they built the current fire station 19--- no sidewalk on Interbay in front of it??!!!

- 930 public hearing DON'T bother...just close the hearing and move on--- Chapter 14 juvenile curfew ordinance--- IMHO, the Mayor started this but now she’s backed out of it. There is already curfew that SHOULD AND COULD (yes, I am armchair quarterbacking here…but the number of folks who have complained about the officers not patrolling during that time is beyond my ability to count) have been enforced on the Halloween weekend that prompted this conversation. No MATTER what the city does in this situation- most kids who live in normal households will be home and in bed at 3am. The ones who are out on the street at 3am will still be out on the street with or without a curfew. The CITY OF TAMPA needs to look at the SAFE PLACE program that is run by the YMCA in Louisville KY for an opportunity to help kids without punitive process.
- Review Hearing- David Weekley Homes- 1936 W Nassau St DE1
- Public Hearing- 130-pm for Grand Cathedral Cigars—2201 N Florida Ave – Ya’ll should pay attention to this one!! Start by reading the Letter to the City Objecting to AB Suspension. I’ll see if I can find the original hearing and post the date for the video to watch what they told TCC they would do UNDER OATH…and what they actually have done!!! I am SO HAPPY THE CITY TOOK THE RIGHT STAND ON THIS!!!!
- Administrative update…
- Change order to MORE THAN DOUBLE the contract written to RTD construction for Meter, Hydrant and Valve Installation by the Water department—I am so confused, why would the City only issue it as a one year contract, did they not KNOW they were going to double the contract to two years? Why not bid it out as such?
- South Howard Flood Relief and Streetscape Project— are there insurances that the neighborhoods have been met with and consulted on the way this is to be done? Will this include neighborhood road repairs and such. PLEASE build into the contract that the contractor can’t drag it out for YEARS like Nelson has done to Seminole Heights folks?
- See #45
- See my earlier comments on the curfew. Why are we wasting everyones time talking about something that most likely won’t be enforced for kids who look like mine…not that they’d be on the street. THE MAYOR started this, but now she’s not interested any longer. TCC shouldn’t waste their time discussing this.
- Youth Activities for Friday and Saturday nights. Doesn’t that mean that youth would be in violation of the curfew? Just sayin… Again, I’d like to see the city investigate SAFE PLACE for a similar program in Tampa.
- Staff report on recommendations for changes to safety and security of Ybor Public Parking lots. THIS is what needs to be done in YBOR--- CW Hurtak was on it prior to the shootings which makes total sense!! TCC members should lean in on this. I guarantee you that kids who are hanging out down there are doing it in Parking Lots in addition to walking on the streets.
- More lights, cameras, law enforcement in the “area---assuming it is YBOR” Please note my comments on #40. Situational awareness could be increased dramatically and that might actually do the MOST good for FREE.
- $280k funding for TPD grant to keep kids off the street. SAFE PLACE

- Expedition of LL payments from the City of Tampa for rental assistance.
