TCC AGENDA Break down… Remember, I am no expert by any stretch. I just note the big ideas--- #1- Budget presentation--- I HOPE the Mayor comes in person for a visit to TCC!! She’s only been to visit with TCC in person ONE TIME!! I can’t wait to see this year’s budget! We'd love to see you Jane Castor #2- Administrative update—no supporting evidence #3 - $4.2 million Water Main improvements, I don’t see a bid sheet? #4 $5.6 million Pumping station rehab, I don’t see bid sheet? #5- TPD to report on the use of body cameras- written report submitted #6- Ybor sexual preditors report from TPD #7- Sidewalk funding for 9th between Bougainvillea and Linebaugh. How did they get that? We need more sidewalks EVERYWHERE! #8 - $400k allocation for Tenant Advocate Office #9- Grace Act – information from Staff about law similar to Austin TX to protect privacy of citizens. #10- Housing ordinance- #11-12- Department of Justice Grants for safe neighborhoods. #13- Boat slip rental for TPD $300k #14- Flora and Fauna purchase-- $382k Bid process saved City 10% #15- Contract finished under priced, save city $10k! #16- Random Consultants approving contracts—no amount mentioned, no bid sheets of any sort. No list of service rendered. #17 Contract finished under priced, save city $578k! #18 Bid sheet savings of 28% $490k #19- Last contract increase by 50% without rebid? $599k increase #20- purchase fleet management software update- $298k #21- Bid savings sheet 21%- $34k savings! #22—four lowest bids declined various reason--- still savings from two top bids- 5%! #23- No rebid- increase from $300k to $600k? This is for temporary employee services.
